Bettmeralp is situated on a high plateau at the top end of Valais at an altitude of 2,000 m above sea level, approximately 1,000 m above the Rhone valley and thus far from the traffic and hectic bustle of everyday life. In this sun-spoiled car-free zone you can combine nature and sports. It is backed by the Bettmerhorn and Eggishorn mountains and the Aletsch glacier, the biggest in Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage site! From the Bettmerhorn you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Aletsch glacier and the uniqueness of the glacier world! And during your comfortable ride in the Bettmeralp-Bettmerhorn gondola up to the Bettmerhorn you will hear many interesting facts about the UNESCO World Heritage Site. And looking across the valley into the clear mountain air almost makes you feel able to touch the flawless panorama of the Valais four-thousand-metre mountains.

Skiers of all levels as well as non-skiers will love this peaceful and relaxing mountain resort. You’ll find 100 km of marked ski slopes, a freestyle-park, 25 km of winter wander trails, a natural ice rink and much more.
